Who provides the service

CVCAD is a service provided by Luca Benvenuti, Italy (hereinafter "CVCAD", "we"). By using the platform you enter into a contract with the operator of the service. Continued use of the site and its tools implies full acceptance of these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use the service.

The service

CVCAD is a computer-vision cloud suite that converts photographs, rectified photoplans and elevations into vector CAD drawings (SVG and DXF), with optional real-scale calibration and spatial coordinates. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use, within the limits of the credits available on your account.

Credits and conversions

Each conversion consumes one credit, deducted from the account balance when processing starts. Purchased credits do not expire and are not transferable between accounts. Registration includes a free trial credit. Uploaded and generated files remain available for 5 days, after which they are deleted.

Payments and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles all order-related and return-related customer support inquiries.

Terms relating to payment, invoicing, taxes, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Prices shown include applicable taxes, calculated by Paddle based on the buyer's country. Our refund policy provides for a 14-day guarantee.

Ownership of outputs

The generated drawings are owned by the user and may be used without restriction in professional assignments, project deliverables, expert reports and public contracts, including for commercial purposes. CVCAD retains ownership of the software, models, documentation and the platform's distinctive signs: nothing in these terms transfers such rights to the user.

User obligations

The user warrants that they are entitled to upload the images used and to process them, in particular where they depict protected heritage assets or works protected by third-party rights, and is responsible for the confidentiality of their own credentials and for all activity carried out through their account.

Prohibited uses

It is not permitted to: use the service for unlawful purposes; upload content that infringes intellectual or industrial property rights or the confidentiality of third parties; commit fraud or send unsolicited content; interfere with platform security (malware, intrusion attempts, scanning, automated scraping, circumvention of technical limits); reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service.

Uploaded content and confidentiality

You grant us a limited licence to host and process uploaded images solely for the purpose of providing the service. Images are not made public nor used to train models, as described on the Confidentiality of uploaded files page. We reserve the right to remove manifestly unlawful content following a reasoned report from the rights holder.

Service availability

The service is provided "as is": we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may temporarily suspend it for maintenance or for causes beyond our reasonable control. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limits of liability

CVCAD is a tool to support technical documentation. Metric verification, validation and signing off of the deliverables remain the responsibility of the appointed professional; the service is provided without any guarantee of absolute dimensional accuracy. Our overall liability is limited to the amounts paid in the preceding 12 months and excludes indirect, consequential damages, loss of profits, data or reputation. Liabilities that cannot be excluded by law remain unaffected.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close access in the event of a material breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated violations of the usage rules. On termination, unused remaining credits may be refunded within the limits of the refund policy; uploaded files are deleted according to the ordinary timeframes.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by Italian law, with jurisdiction in Italy, without prejudice to the mandatory protections provided for consumers. Any updates will be published on this page.
